Today @swobes directed my attention to Canabalt, an online game that fits  all of my criteria for a good time:

1. Quick and to the point, I don’t have to think too much – just jump
2. Only uses one button – so I can play with one hand
3. And most of all, I can eat a sandwich while playing

Multitasking during a lunch break to get the maximum amount of rest and relaxation allowed without a prescription is a sought after experience in my book. Who needs a game that I have to memorize keyboard shortcuts and watch cut scenes to follow a storyline? Do I care that I’m trying to escape because a robot army is destroying the city? No. I could give two shits what’s going on. I just except the fact that I need to press x to jump over stuff and I can go to town on my Baconator and not get my keyboard greasy.
